Wine of the Week | Tres Ojos Garnacha 2006 [Red] This young garnacha-based red from Calatayud is reliable year after year, an excellent value, and a fine quaff. Great fruit-driven nose (red berries) with a nice brushy/spice undercurrent. Fresh and fruity on the palate (strawberry/raspberry) with peppery/dry herb spice. Nice and sweet on the finish. [$L] |
