Wine of the Week | Albariño de Fefiñanes 2005 [White] While many thing albarñ±os are best drunk young, a sample of this year-old classic may make you think twice. It's a lovely wine, full of flavor and a great match with fish or shellfish. Excellent. Clean bright yellow straw color. Great nose with citrus (lemon/lime) and stone (peach) fruit with a pleasant flowery smell (honeysuckle) and a bit of minerality as well. On the palate it's rich and rounded with lemony acidity, lots of fruit, great balance and length. [$M] |
