Wine of the Week | Jakue 2005 [White] Made from the Basque Country's native Hondarribi Zuri grape from Talai-Berri's own vineyards, this is without a doubt one of the best chacolĂ/txacoli white wines I've ever tried. Lovely complexity on the nose with citrus (lime/grapefruit), a hint of anise and flowers, and a pleasant touch of minerality. The palate's crisp and fresh with citrus and tropical fruit flavors, great length. Excellent. [$M] |
