Flor de Muga 2024 [Rosé]
Producer: Bodegas Muga
Region: DOC Rioja

100% garnacha After minimal contact with the skins, 50% of the first free-run juice (mosto flor) is bled off and each parcel is fermented separately in small wooden vats. After fermentation the wine is stored on the lees for at least 4 months. Finally, only selected vats make up the final blend.

Lovely pale pink/onion skin color. Intense aromas of fruit (peach and wild cherries), rose petals, a hint of citrus and cinammon spice.
Rich with body, apricot fruit, plush tannins & racy acidity make for freshness & persistence. An outstanding rosé.

One of the finest, most pleasurable Spanish rosés I've had the pleasure to sample.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
