Wine of the Week | Corpus del Muni 2002 [Red] This is the second vintage for this up and coming producer under the Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla denomination. Made from old vines Tempranillo with a bit of oak age, this rich, fruity red might go well with the Thanksgiving turkey. Medium depth cherry red color with a bluish tint. Ripe berry aromas [cherry/blueberry] and a touch of vanilla & spice. A rich fruit-driven palate with good length and just the right amount of oak. Great value. [$L] |
