100% tempranillo from the winery's La Planta estate, over 900 meters above sea level, grown on clay/limestone soil on top of solid calcareous bedrock, 20+ years old. Cold pre-fermentation, nurtured 6 months in a mix of French & American oak barrels.

Magenta hued cherry red - classic Ribera color, cherries/plums, a hint of spice.
Smooth, easy on the palate tannins, fresh fruit flavors (cherry/raspberry), nicely integrated oak, medium bodied with a lasting finish. Very good, excellent value.
