85% tempranillo, the remaining 15% a mix of syrah, cabernet sauvignon & graciano, nurtured 16 months in oak barrels/vats, bottled in April 2024.
Vino de la tierra de Castillo y León.

Sturdy, fruit forward (blueberry/plum) with hints of licorice and cocoa on the nose.
Full bodied, rich with generous easygoing tannins, ripe berry fruit and a touch of spice/cigarbox. Excellent bottle of wine that should hold up well in the cellar.

Mauro has been one of my go-to wines for a long time. A keeper.
