Arzuaga
Wine of the Week

Arzuaga Reserva 2020 [Red]
Producer: Bodegas Arzuaga
Region: DO Ribera del Duero

96% tempranillo, 6% cabernet sauvignon & merlot grown on mainly 80 year old vines in 25+ plots. Nurtured for 27 months in new French barrels.

A lot going on here with dark berry fruit, toasty oak and a plethora of spicy notes: cinnamon, vanilla, coffee/cocoa, tabacco...
Silky smooth, polished tannins, ripe bluberry fruit and a long, serious finish. Balanced, complex, elegant - develops nicely in the glass. Excellent bottle of wine, a pleasure to drink.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
