Wine of the Week | Gran Feudo Rosado 2023 [Rosé] 100% garnacha, grapes are left in the must for a few hours, then the juice is bled off to separate tanks for fermentation. This method, "saignée", is often used in Navarra for rosé production. Nice rose pink color, a primary fruit driven nose with raspberry/strawberry aromas and a touch of brushy herbs. A longtime Spanish classic, a tad high in alcohol, serve well chilled or even on the rocks. [$L] |
