Wine of the Week | Fefiñanes 1583 2022 [Red] 100% albariño, trellised vines grown granite-based soils in the Salnés area, fermented in French oak barrels and nurtured on the lees for three months, resting nother two months in steel tanks before bottling. Golden straw color, refined aromas of dried fruit & flowers, butterscotch, a balanced palate with dried apricots, quince, caramel over a slightly smoky/oak background.
