100% old vines garnacha (65+ years old), planted on granite based soils in the Gredos foothills. Nurtured in large (500/600 liter) French oak barrels for 12 months.

Ripe berry fruit aromas (blueberry/strawberry), sweet plums as well; backed up by a second layer of brushy "garrigue" aromas (thyme/rosemary) and a hint of black pepper.
Rich/sweet berry fruit flavors, with serious polished tannins, fine balance and excellent persistence. A keeper.
