Wine of the Week | Tres Patas 2018 [Red] 100% old vines garnacha (65+ years old), planted on granite based soils in the Gredos foothills. Nurtured in large (500/600 liter) French oak barrels for 12 months. Ripe berry fruit aromas (blueberry/strawberry), sweet plums as well; backed up by a second layer of brushy "garrigue" aromas (thyme/rosemary) and a hint of black pepper. [$M] |
