Wine of the Week | Becquer Blanco 2019 [White] 50% chardonnay, 50% viura (macabeo) from the winery's own vineyards (viura 60 years, chardonnay 40 years). Fermented in American oak barrels, resting on the lees until April with daily "battonage". Bright golden yellow color, attractive aromas of honeycomb, butterscotch, lemon curd & quince with a subtle oaky background with vanilla and cinnamon. [$M] |
