Wine of the Week | Logos Selección 2017 [Red] 40% cabernet sauvignon, 30% garnacha & 30% merlot sourced from the winery's own Finca La Sarda. After some 30 days maceration the wine is nurtured for 16 months in oak barrels (70% French 30% American), resting another year in the bottle cellar before release. Dark cherry red color, a little tight at first but opened up nicely with a bit of air. Toasted notes blend well with plum & blackberry fruit, chocolate and spice. Hacienda Logos forms part of the Familia Escudero group of wineries. [$H] |
