Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 1999 [Red]
Producer: Unión Viti-Vinícola
Region: DOC Rioja

As the holidays approach, a good food-friendly red like this one is worth having. Despite the winery's rather large production numbers, Marqués de Cáceres is consistently reliable year after year; and this 1999 crianza is certainly no exception. Good with a wide range of food from grilled chops to roast turkey.

Nice dark garnet red color. Well defined aromas of ripe red berry fruit with a nice spicy/honey scent. Medium bodied palate, easy drinking and very tasty with good acidity and balance. Very good and an excellent value.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
