Wine of the Week | Fino La Ina [Fortified] La Ina is a Jerez/Sherry classic. The original "solera" was laid down by Pedro Domecq in 1919. The brand was taken over by Lustau in 2001, but the original 4,200 barrel solera remains. This fino is nurtured for 5 years in these same American oak "botas". Clean pale straw color, armomas of almonds, dry hay, apples and a hint of salinity. [$L] |
