100% very old vines verdejo (100+ years old) grown organically in Nieva, Segovia. The grapes are fermented in oak barrels, minimal intervention, resting less than 12 months before bottling.

Fruit (apricot/peach), dry flowers, upland herbs and a hint of almonds.
Lovely mouthfeel, rich and smooth (unctious) dried apricots, straw flowers, & a touch of sandy minerality. Modest persistence, nice wine.

No DO here, bottled as "Castilla y León". No mention of vintage on the label, apparently it's 2020.
