60% syrah from younger vineyards, 40% old vines cariñena (carignan) grown on red clay soils. Nurtured in for 13 months: syrah in American oak barrels, cariñena in French barriques.

Deep dark color with red berry aromas, plums, a touch of black olives & violets.
Rich, fruit driven palate with a nice background of spice (nutmeg), dark chocolate & tobacco. Sweet tannins and a long finish. Excellent stuff. I will get more for my cellar.
