100% tempranillo, grown on the Campillo estate in Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa. Nurtured 22 months in a mix of American and French oak barrels.

A class Rioja with ripe dark berries (blueberry/mulberry), spice (nutmeg/cardamom) and a hint of chocolate, smoke and oak tanned leather.
Silky smooth on the palate with ripe berry fruit & clean tannins. Nice balance, a pleasure to drink, excellent stuff.

Bodegas Campillo is an estate winery, part of the Familia Martínez Zabala group.
