Lava 2021 [Red]

70% listán negro, 15% verijadiego negro, 10% tintilla and 5% baboso negro, organically farmed on volcanic "picón" soils, matured in French oak casks.

Light in color (pinot noir like), but full of aromatic complexity: red cranberries, cherries, bluberries and an unmistakable mineral/sulphur touch of this special terrain.
Bright/fresh with generous fruit, spice (nutmeg/vanilla) sleek tannins and a long finish marked by the volcanic soil's minerals. Outstanding.

Note: "picón" is a fine gravel composed of broken down lava.
