 Wine of the Week | Algueira 2020 [Red] 100% mencía grown on slate/schist soils, destemmed, cold prefermentation, no oak, only stainless steel tanks. Cherry, raspberry & strawberry with some background mineral scents (stones/graphite). A touch of reduction (typical of the thid grape) at first sniff, quickly disappears.
