Wine of the Week | Faustino I Gran Reserva 2010 [Red] A typical Rioja blend: mostly tempranillo with a dose of graciano & mazuelo, nurtured in Franch and American oak barrels for 24 months. Shows very good color, still a nice dark cherry red. Clean & fresh with plums & berries, spice (cinnamon/tabacco/chocolate). A well made wine from the classy 2010 vintage. Should cellar well for a few years to come. [$H] |
