Wine of the Week | La Cuchareta 2015 [Red] 100% tempranillo, nurtured 12+ months in American oak barrels. Vineyards in the Rioja Alta sub-zone in the Nájera area. A shade timid on opening with a touch of toast, beeswax & tobacco/cigarbox. With a little air, rich ripe blueberry fruit comes to the forefront. Complex, balanced.
