Wine of the Week | Luis Caņas Crianza 2018 [Red] 95% tempranillo, 5% garnacha, nurtured 12 months in oak barrels (60% French, 40% American). A Rioja Alavesa classic, always reliable. Dark berry fruit (blueberry/blackberry), bright & fresh with a nice spicy background (vanilla/cinnamon) and a hint of smoke, dry leaves & chocolate. An excellent example of what Rioja's all about.
