Wine of the Week | Valmiñor 2020 [White] 100% albariño grapes from vineyards in the O'Rosal area, close to the Miño River that borders Portugal. Cold maceration followed by temperature controlled fermentation (17ªC) for 15 days. Apricot, dry flowers, quince, citrus and a touch mineral/saline. The O'Rosal area albariños tend to be mellow and easy on the palate. This Valmiñor is a fine example, and after a year in bottle is smooth and drinking beautifully. [$M] |
