Wine of the Week | Proelio Reserva 2017 [Red] 85% tempranillo, 10% garnacha & 5% graciano grapes grown on old (50-80 years) bush vines. Developed during 15 months in French oak barrels, followed by 3 months resting in 4,000 liter wooden vats before bottling. Clean & focused with aromas of spice (nutmeg/cinnamon), wildflowers, straw and well ripened berry fruit. Proelio forms part of the Palacios Vinos de Finca group which also includes Trus (Ribera del Duero) & Nivarius (Rioja). [$M] |
