Wine of the Week | Vinsacro Dioro 2010 [Red] "Vidau" (a field blend) of very old vines: tempranillo, garnacha, mazuelo, graciano & others; extended maceration on the skins (30 days); malolactic in barrels, nurtured 17 months in French oak. This is a follow up tasting; wrote about it here 7 years ago (same wine, a trademark issue required a name change from Valsacro to Vinsacro). The wine has evolved beautifully. No sign of old age, a keeper. [$H] |
