Wine of the Week | Ansa 2015 [Red] 100% old vines tempranillo (60+ years old) from the area of Elvillar (Rioja Alavesa), nurtured 14 months in new French oak barrels. Bottled in May 2017. Bodega 202 is a boutique winery and a newcomer to the Rioja wine scene. Had the good fortune to sample several of their wines recently, all were very good, but this Ansa 2015 really stood out. [$H] |
