Wine of the Week | Tiza 2020 [Red] 100% tempranillo, temperature controlled fermentation & maceration on the skins. Stored in large stainless steel tanks before bottling. This wine is all about fruit: blackberry, blueberry, red currants... with a touch of minerals & fennel in the background. A recent arrival to the US market and an excellent example of what La Mancha & the tempranillo grape all about. Tiza means chalk, the vines thrive on the winery's chalk & limestone soils. [$L] |
