Wine of the Week | Banzao Mencía de San Pedro de Oll 2018 [Red] 100% mencía grapes from very old vines, once abandoned en El Bierzo's Valle de Ancares, now restored by winemaker Silvia Marrao Barreiro for the Banzao project. It grows in the glass: mencías typically need some air to show their best. [$M] |
