Wine of the Week | Albamar O Esteiro 2017 [Red] A blend of regional grapes: mencía, caiño & espadeiro. Nurtured 8 months in French oak barrels. Lean, clean, bright with ample black cherry & blackberry fruit, mountain herbs (grassy/mineral). Albariño whites may rule in Galicia's Rías Baixas, but there are some interesting reds as well.
