Wine of the Week | Luis Caņas Crianza 2017 [Red] 95% tempranillo, 5% garnacha, nurtured 12 months in oak barrels (60% French, 40% American). A Rioja Alavesa classic, excellent value. Dark berry fruit (blueberry/blackberry/Bing cherry), bright & fresh with a nice spicy background (vanilla/cinnamon) and a hint of smoke & autumn leaves. A longtime personal favorite that always shows well. Great bang for the buck! [$M] |
