Wine of the Week | Burgo Viejo Blanco 2019 [White] A blend of viura (macabeo) & tempranillo blanco, made from organically grown grapes. When we think of Rioja, we think red, but think again. A pleasing golden straw color and a fresh, fruit driven nose: citrus, apple & pear with background notes of dried flowers and freshly cut hay. Crisp and bright in the mouth with lemony freshness, apples and a hint of fennel. Lingers pleasantly on the palate.
