Wine of the Week | Talai Berri 2001 [White] This "chacolí" [or "txacolí" in the local Basque language] is made from the native Hondarribi Zuri grape, grown along the shores of the Bay of Biscay near the lovely port/beach town of Zarautz in northern Spain. Crisp lemony acidity on the palate, where a bright, tingling herbal taste lingers on the tongue. Very good. [$M] |
