Wine of the Week | Alonso del Yerro 2010 [Red] A fantastic wine, one the best Riberas I've had in a while. 100% Tempranillo, aged in French oak. A terrific value, costs 20€ in Spain, and it's a steal. It's got it all. Not to be missed. Outstanding. Nice dark color. Power, elegance, balance, with excellent length and a touch of stony minerality on the finish. [$H] |
