Wine of the Week | Logos Rosado 2011 [Rosé] Rosés are not always my "cup of tea", but this barrel fermented Tempranillo/Garnacha blend is terrific. Amador Escudero (Valsacro) has put together a rosé with good concentration & lots of flavor. Very good. Plenty of color: raspberry red, clean and bright. Wild berry aromas (strawberry/blueberry/tart cherry), dry straw and a hint of spice on the nose. The palate's crisp with ample berry fruit flavors and (again) just a touch of oaky spice. Good length, nice balance, great on its own or with a wide range of food. [$M] |
