Wine of the Week | Giné Giné 1999 [Red] A relatively new producer from the Priorat region, Buil & Giné offers an interesting range of reds from this now fashionable region in Northeast Spain. This unoaked red, made from Garnacha and Cariñena should go well with pasta or medium cured cheeses. Bright cherry red color, clean and bright. Fresh red berry fruit nose with a hint of wildflowers, peppery spice and a pleasant mineral touch. Crisp acidity, fresh on the palate with cherries and strawberries. Very good. [$M] |
