Located out of the central area on the north side of the city, Aldaba is certainly one of Madrid's top restaurants. Creative quality cusine, beautifully prepared and presented. Excellent wine list.

To try: Tenderloin "carpaccio" with caviar, mantis shrimp tails on a bed of foie, baked grouper or sea bass

Wine cellar: A top class wine cellar with more than 600 references, including many of Spain's best wines, international as well and very knowledgable staff.

Rating: In my view, one of the city's best. Prices are on the high side, major credit cards accepted.
