Finca Higueron

There are two entrances to the property, the second entrance is for the proprietors, whilst some 50 meters back along the road is the guest's personal entrance.

The cottages are in the centre of the property. Looking to the East side there is a large orchard with citrus and soft fruit trees, with views to Vejer and mountains in the distance. The viewing pagoda, looking to the West, by the southern wall is at the hill top and provides breath taking views to the Atlantic Ocean, Cadiz, Medina Sidonia and Africa, 60km away. To the south on a clear day the Riif mountains can be seen.

Separating the two cottages, there is a path that meanders through a large concealed tropical garden, which is full of palm trees, yuccas and colourful shrubs and flowers. It is surrounded by a large evergreen hedge and white walls with bougainvillea that are trained to provide a frontage of colour.

To the west there is the vegetable garden edged with citrus fruit trees and a view to El Palmar and the Atlantic 6km away

To the north of the central patio is the main house, which has its own patio where the laundry room has been installed in an old converted brick shed.
